In Retrospect
All of the shows you remember being awesome but, in reality, kind of suck, right at your fingertips.
You’re going to be so excited when this Roku SD Streaming Player hits your doorstep. You’ll rip open the packaging, easily plug it up to you TV and connect it to your high-speed Internet connection. Maybe you’ll have a quick look through the various channels and media services available like Netflix, Hulu Plus, Crackle, and Pandora, but not seriously. After all, you already know what you want to watch first, don’t you?
It’s that one show you used to watch when you were younger, the one you used to wait for religiously, week after week. Man, remember how amazing the main character was? Remember that Season 3 cliffhanger that made you wonder all summer whether it was coming back? And the episode with the monkey! Remember that one? That was great, man. Really great. I bet you can’t wait to see that one again. You should watch that one first!
But once it starts streaming into your home, it won’t be the same. The characters seem flimsy and the monkey isn’t the great plot device you thought it was. That magic you once felt is gone. Why?
