Yeah, yeah. We get it. You’re super cool and super in-the-know because you listen to music from bands that no one’s ever heard of. Like “Poutine” by Al Dente and the Sauce and “Megahertz Donut” by Electric Bathtub.
But no matter how many times you cut me down for listening to “that mainstream crap” I am never going to queue up “Ghengis Kong” on my iPod and blast it through the four speakers and vented bass enclosure of my Sound Logic iTower.
If you want the entire building to know what an elitist music douchetart you are, that’s your business. Go ahead and use the built-in 30-pin docking station to crank up Thunder Cuss and Bananabis at two in the morning.
Then you can stand in the corner next to the simplistically-designed tower, smoking your tobacco pipe and waxing poetic about how the guys in Chainwhip Domino really “get it.”
In the meantime, I’ll be in my room with the pillow over my head, trying to drown out the smooth sounds of Sawdust Bandit, while hoping in vain that the docking station actually won’t charge your music device while it plays like it’s supposed to.
