The Future’s So Bright, I Gotta Wear Laser Shades

In the future, this Laser Trac Level will just be called “a level.”

Because in the future, everything will use lasers, so calling anything a “laser something” will just be redundant. But it’ll work pretty much the same as it does now; you’ll hold it – or since it’s magnetic, you can stick it to a metal laser stud – and it’ll shoot a laser line vertically, horizontally, or at any angle up to 30 feet. Then, you can use it to laser cut your laser wood or to hang your laser paintings straight (because who can trust their laser eyes, am I right?). It even projects out 100% for when you’ve got laser art you need to hang on adjacent laser walls!

It’ll certainly be a great tool for home improvement projects in and around your laser house. Personally, I can’t wait to use mine to build a little laser shed out in the back laser yard to hold all my handy laser tools.

You know, it’s innovations like this Craftsman that makes me hopeful for what’s to come, even if the light from all the lasers does attract a violent alien race that will come and enslave us like some of the blogs I read say.
