Endless Summer

Brrr. Brrrr. I can’t believe I misread the calendar so completely. I guess I should have known when the park service laughed and said I’d have no problem reserving the picnic area. Well, no matter. I’ll put on my Jan and Dean MP3s, or that new AAC version of “Smile” that just came out, or maybe even catch a WAV file! Ha ha! That’s the spirit, me! Boy, joking around makes me feel warmer already. Let’s go with some Mungo Jerry and… there! NOW it’s a summer beach blast! Just, you know, three months later than it should be. Brrr. These flip flops don’t stop the wind at all.

BUT Brian Wilson never said die and I won’t either. I’m sure my friends will be pulling up any second now with coolers full of ice cold soda pop and newly waxed surfboards! Maybe I’ll get in the mood by watching some old Frankie Avalon movies on this 4:3 800 x 600 screen. It’s amazing to me how technology has changed over the years! Once I’d have to watch this thing in a dark theater, and now? Also because it’s Android 2.2, there are plenty of apps. Like this weather app, which says… oh, the largest blizzard ever to hit my state. And it’s coming this way. In an hour.

You know, the Velocity Micro Cruz Android Tablet also lets me sit quietly and read books in the car with the heater on. Maybe I’ll just do that until the clams are ready.
