Mirror, Mirror, On The Wall
When you’ve taken your own picture as many times as I have, sometimes you can’t remember which restroom is which.
I don’t wear these cute outfits just so that I can wait for other people to take my photo and post it to my wall on Facebook, you know. My online images are way too important for that. No, when I look perfectly profile picture adorbz, I take my Panasonic 14.1MP Digital Camera and my duckface into the one place where everyone looks their best: a public bathroom.
It’s totally true, you know. Most people take their profile photos in their own bathroom, but I’m all like “If you don’t look good in any other restroom but your own, why are you even leaving the house?” Besides, check out these pictures I took of myself at Craddlebee’s the other night. Beautifully crisp and totally stunning in 14.1 megapixels, right? You have no idea how hard it is to find a place with a working hand dryer for that wind-swept look.
And can you see the way my eyes sparkle in the light reflected off the automatic faucets at Frankie’s Pub in the 3” LCD screen? So great, right? The peace sign I’m throwing completes the whole thing, really. Ugh, if only that lady behind me hadn’t gotten in the way of the 16x optical zoom LEICA DC lens with 24mm ultra-wide angle and gotten all “I just wanna wash my hands” on me. She’s just a hater.
You wanna know what the best part is? With the built-in GPS function tagging my photos as I take them, I’ll always know where the best lighting and cleanest mirrors are! I can be all like, “The plastic fichus tree in the ladies’ room at Shooter’s will totally go with my top” or “Can’t go to Harper’s ‘cause the alcohol ads on the wall make my hair look flat.”
Um, I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. I’m not crazy. “Crazy” would be letting someone else take my photo in the bathroom. Me get someone else’s germs all over my camera? Ew. No thanks. And I don’t even want to think about the embarrassment of asking someone in a stall to take my picture, either.
