Household Uses

Here we are, folks, at the bottom of the pop culture comedy mine. We’ve run dry. These jokes are an un-renewable resource, y’know. It takes decades for a fresh or interesting take on an old sci-fi film to matriculate. But did we care enough to exercise restraint and ease back our consumption? No. And now there are no more witty Star Wars jokes for future generations. It’s a sad day. My son will grow up in a world where every single reference to the movies is stale, and one day maybe even the entire genre will collapse. Future wars won’t be for oil or land or nationalism. In the future humans will resort to fighting for puns. They’re more precious than any natural resource I can think of.
Sure, we had hybrid jokes that only briefly touched on the movies or combined the reference with some other pop culture thing, but they were too little too late. This is our world now. We’ll just have to try to survive.
Wear this shirt: While changing light bulbs, I guess.
Don’t wear this shirt: To that new Star Trek flick.
This shirt tells the world: “Get it? GET IT?!”
We call this color: No silver lining
Woot
