Wenzel Sierra Pass 2-Room Tent
Sunday, July 8, 2012
Sometimes you just need some space, you know? Don’t get me wrong: I love my wife. We’ve been living in the same tent together for 30 years and it feels like every day I find something new to love about her. But after a hard day of work digging for grubs and setting snares, I need a little “me” time. That’s why our Wenzel Sierra Pass 2-Room Tent is so great.
You see, the tent is big enough for the whole family at 18′ x 10′. Little Alfred, Little Tina, Little Bernard, and Little Aeschylus all have space to romp and play. But everybody knows that when the hanging divider curtain goes up, it “daddy time.” That gives me a chance to meditate on all the tax evasion and fraud charges that landed us here in the first place.
Plus, if the federales ever do come looking for us, they’ll have to surround the place, because our tent has two mesh doors for quick escape. And I’ll be able to spot them a mile away through the two zippered windows. So we’re able to enjoy the great outdoors in existential comfort.
And if I know one thing about federal agents, it’s that they’ll balk if you use your own child as a human shield, so I can always fall back on that.
