Toolbox Wine Mixed White Case (12)
Sunday, July 22, 2012
First, identify a problem. Any problem will do. Is your shower head leaking? Perhaps your car’s oil needs changing? Maybe your washing machine is on the fritz. If you’re having trouble, don’t be afraid to broaden the definition of “problems.” An unidentifiable rash given to you by an ex-lover or soul-crushing job dissatisfaction will work, too.
Next, break out your Toolbox Mixed White Wine Case and choose which wine will best address the problem you are currently experiencing. If the job calls for crisp brightness and a full mouth feel that features the scents of passion fruit, honey, pear and citrus on the nose, you’ll want one of your six bottles of 2009 Toolbox Pinot Grigio. If a more balanced taste of sugars and acids is needed, or if you just happen to have oysters or shellfish around, consider using the 2008 Toolbox Sauvignon Blanc. Aren’t sure which is best? The tried and true “eeny, meeny, miny, moe” method should help, though many would suggest just closing your eyes and picking one at random.
Finally, find a sunset, a good book, or video of playful kitties, sit down in a comfortable chair, and have some wine, for Pete’s sake. Geez, you worry too much. Who cares about a stupid faucet or rash, anyway? Well, sure, maybe you should get the rash looked at by a professional, but that’s tomorrow. Or the next day. Or maybe even the day after that.
