Smith & Wesson Tactical LED Flashlight
Thursday, August 2, 2012
This flashlight is top-tier. It’s got a super-bright 150 lumen CREE LED diode that will last (this is the technical term) FOREVER. But as a total hypochondriac germophobe, what really appealed to me was its antibacterial tail cap switch. I mean, who hasn’t been totally skeeved out by a filthy tail cap switch?
Don’t let me get sidetracked, because I could talk about that thing all day. Point is, you’re not going to get a more durable, brighter flashlight that runs on only 3 AAA batteries and weighs only a third of a pound. It’s got a nice grippy surface and a belt clip, but just in case you DO drop it in a pile of raw sewage, you can rest assured that the tail cap switch is going to be germ-free.
Yup, that antibacterial tail cap switch — what’s that? I’m sorry? It’s an “anti-roll tactical tail cap switch”? I guess I just glanced over it and didn’t read carefully enough. Huh. What does that even mean? Well, never mind, I’m going to go wash my hands for the next several days.
