Deep within Pamela’s closet, buried in a dark corner under old shoes and a few items of clothing that have fallen off their hangers, sits a Makita Cordless Drill Combo Set just like the one you see here. Pamela couldn’t tell you how long it’s been there. She’s probably forgotten it’s even there. But someday, maybe even someday soon, owning this set will change her life.
Why else would I, your humble narrator, bring it up? What other reason could I possibly have to mention the 3/8″ cordless impact wrench, 3/8″ cordless driver-drill, or heavy duty 16″ nylon tool bag if it wasn’t to bring to your attention that one or more of these items may possibly play a vital part in our story? Just think, even now the flashlight, two NiCd batteries and included battery charger that may seal the fate of our beloved Pamela – or perhaps some other character – are just lying there in the darkness, waiting for someone to bring them out and put them to diabolical, or even benevolent, use.
That’s right. Who says the person who wields these tools will use them for evil? After all, the reversal impact wrench featuring 1,240 inch pounds of torque has plenty or good, legitimate uses. Same goes for the driver drill with keyless chuck and 2-speed gear selection. And how could anyone use a bonus tool bag for transporting the set for any nefarious purpose?
Only time will tell, gentle reader. Only time will tell.
