Wow. All I can say is Wow. I’m just … Oh my God. I don’t even have a speech prepared. This is just so unexpected. I’m humbled to have even been nominated alongside such classic and beloved toys. I grew up playing with each and every one of you. You are my inspiration. Without you, none of this would have been possible.
I guess first and foremost, I’d like to thank my wife for putting up with me when I was developing this toy. It’s hard enough having three regular kids in the house without having to deal with a husband who likes to play with toys all day.
I’d also like to thank the people at Guidecraft for believing in an idea as wacky as jumbo-sized building pieces in primary colors that connect together easily and securely, and come apart with minimal force.
To all the naysayers who said it couldn’t be done, developing a fun toy that encourages problem-solving, mathematical, comprehension, social and emotional skills, I say “Nanner nanner boo boo. Stick your head in doo doo.”

“UGH! Why do I even watch these awards shows? Legos was TOTALLY ROBBED!”
