Look, you can use these Yukon Outfitters Trekking Poles for their intended purpose if you want to. That’s fine. I have no problem with that. If you all want to do with the ergonomically designed cork grips and adjustable comfort wrist straps is go hiking, fine! I’m just letting you know what I use mine for: hunting leaves.

It’s that time of year, after all, when the leaves start making their descent, when they grow restless with hanging from trees and launch a full scale invasion on our precious ground. Well, I don’t take that sort of thing lightly. No, I fight back!

Now, I know what you’re probably thinking: “Why not just rake them?” I’ll tell you why: because raking is herding, and I’m not a sheepdog. I’m a man. I want to hunt. I don’t just want to move the leaves. I want to send a clear message: if you wanna fall on my lawn, then I got a carbide tip with your name on it.

Hopefully, one of these years, they’ll learn their lesson and stay up there. Until then, there’s fighting to be done!
