Back in 1986, I was what they called an “Icehead.” I spent half a year following Australian band Icehouse on their tour across Florida, Mississippi, Alabama and Stalingrad. I don’t even think there WAS a Stalingrad in 1986. That’s what a huge fan I was! But even me, who my friends call “Mr. Primitive Man” himself, was blown away by all the new depth I found when using these JLab Audio Premium Earbuds.

Imagine how I felt the first time I heard Iva Davies purring out Nothing Too Serious while Simon Lloyd tickled those synthetic ivories at what might just be beyond the speed of light … and couldn’t figure out who was on bass? Of course, it was Stephen Morgan, since I was listening to the Japanese release of their landmark smash album Man of Colours, but it threw me for a loop, as the rich, dynamic soundstage created a aural landscape unequaled since I finally found the complete Midnight Oil in FLAC!

And don’t even get me started on the extended mix of “Crazy” and that unfathomably beautiful guitar lunge at the fifteen second mark. I almost called up my high school girlfriend in tears! Instead, I just liked her most recent Facebook post with a heavy heart, but that’s not the point.

The point is, if these earbuds can help me rediscover one of my absolute most favoriteist bands … what can they do for YOU? I think it’s clear that they can help you enjoy music again. I’d recommend you start with Electric Blue and go from there. Like they say, for a moment you’ll believe it was true. Where “it” means the dream that was … Icehouse.
