If you don’t spend much time in our forums or perusing some of the other Woot sites (how many do we even have these days?) you might not know that sometimes, occasionally, every once in a great while, we get our tablets mixed up. We know, it’s hard to believe, but it has been known to happen. Then there’s a lot of scrambling and finger-pointing and threatening emails, and consequences will never be the same.
So we understand if you’re kind of gun-shy about this Asus Transformer Pad 10.1″ 16GB Tablet, but we’re really pretty mildly confident that this is the actual model we’re selling. Seriously. We’d bet on it. Not, like, a HUGE bet or anything. We wouldn’t get all Casino Royale with our life savings or anything, but we’re reasonably certain that by purchasing this tablet you’re getting the NVIDIA Tegra 3 4-Plus-1 Quad Core CPU with a 12-core GPU to maximize performance while minimizing your power guzzling. We’re pretty sure you’re also getting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with it, along with scratch-resistant glass and Polaris Office 3.0 software to edit documents and stuff.
Of course, it’s also possible we’ll double-check the warehouse and find out we actually bought a pallet full of left-footed scuba flippers, but if it’s any consolation we’re getting good at refining our process for fixing horrific shipping/receiving errors. And if there’s ever a time when we’re going to be EXTRA sure you get the tablet you ordered, it’s now.
