Ever own a bean bag chair? Ever have that bean bag chair spring a leak? Why do I ask? No reason. We’re totally kidding with you. This super soft microbead pillow won’t spring a leak like a bean bag chair inevitably will every time. Probably. If you use it correctly. But we’re still not making any promises.

But enough about the potential snow storm. Let’s talk about the other ways this pillow is NOT like a bean bag chair. For one, you’re at no risk of losing the top layer of skin from the back of your thighs when you stand up after using this pillow. Mostly because you should be using it to gently cradle your head, not your … well, you know.

And what bean bag chair do you know that has a soft nylon outer shell that stretches to conform to your position? The only thing a bean bag chair conforms to is, again, any bare patch of skin that happens to come into contact with it on a particularly balmy day.

All in all, I’d say the only thing a bean bag chair has on this pillow is that you can wipe Tang and/or nacho cheese off a bean bag chair a lot easier than this pillow. The pillow does come with a zippered, removable velour pillowcase that’s machine washable and dryable though, so I’m gonna call that one a draw. And if you’ve been keeping score, that’s Microbead Pillow-3, Bean Bag Chair-1. I think we have a clear winner.
