When the great paper pest invasion of ’96 hit our home, I thought we’d have to move. Our house, built by my father 47 years ago, was overtaken by all sorts of paper rodents, varmints, and insects. I thought we were goners for sure.

If these had been real creatures, like real rats, real mice, or real skunks, shooting them would’ve never been an option. We’ve never used guns on real animals; we have a cat to take care of those sorts of things. But these paper creatures, they were a whole ‘nother breed, so it was a good thing I had my Crosman TR77 Air Rifle.

Built for shooting paper targets, my air rifle was a fitting savior when those 2-dimensional critters stepped foot on my porch. The hours I had spent at the range shooting paper bulls-eyes had me fully prepared for these paper animals. With the CenterPoint 4x32mm scope, I had everything I needed to hit the spot every time, no matter which part of the piece of paper I was shooting. Our house was saved, and those paper rodents went straight to the recycling bin.

I still keep my Crosman TR77 Air Rifle locked and loaded. You never know when pieces of paper, animal-shaped or 8×11 rectangles, may attack.
