Everyone knows the saying, “You get what you pay for.” However, few people know the follow-up: “But sometimes you get about twice as much as you pay for.” That’s the deal with these Steiner 8×30 Military Spec Binoculars.
These are serious, European special-ops military-grade binoculars for serious binocularists. But through some fluke of tariffs and trade agreements and so forth, we’ve managed to sell them at a pretty spectacular discount. They ain’t cheap, but superior, lightweight optics never are (as the saying goes).
To put this deal in terms we can understand, this is like paying $ 3 for a shot of well vodka and getting served a Grey Goose martini. Or playing nickel-keno and winning dime-keno payouts. Or giving your cousin $ 800 cash for a 1992 Honda Civic, and receiving a 1999 Honda Accord instead. In short: Our lives are very sad.
