It’s so tough being a baby. One minute you’re hanging out in the warm comfort of your mother’s womb, the next minute you’re thrust into the cold, harsh world.

And to top it all off, you have to stay inside and practice your tummy time while all your little monkey friends get to go outside and have some fun in the sun. Even a fun game of peek-a-boo with a pineapple mirror can’t make up for the fact that they get to ride the waves on a surfboard, and you’re just learning to prop yourself up on a surfboard pillow.

Sometimes you get so mad, you just want to tear into that textured banana teether. But you don’t actually have teeth yet, so you just gum it with a vengeance instead.

One day, you too will be surfin’ up a storm, and probably also eating some sand because all babies try it at least once. Until then, you’ll have to settle for a little Overhead Discovery ala the spinning musical monkey that can also attach to your car seat. You know he’s mocking you, but you hold your head up high anyway. Well, you will one day after hours more tummy time practice.
