REASON THREE: The word shed looks a lot like the contraction for she had which means you can make all kinds of jokes that’ll annoy the hardcore grammarians. “Hey, you left out an apostrophe when you said she’d!” “No, I didn’t. Because, you see, I was talking about my shed!” “Oh, no! I am the one who is wrong!” “That’s right! And by law, that means you can never insult my spelling again!” “IEEEE! What shall I do?” That’s the kind of fun you’ll be having each and every day.

REASON FOUR: A gable-styled roof is a sign of class. People will drive past your shed and think “What if I abandoned my job and family and rented a tiny house like that? I could be so happy!” instead of what they’re thinking now, i.e. “What kind of jerkface leaves old paint cans in his driveway?”

REASON FIVE: The simple colors. No longer are we in an age of ostentatious turquoise and purple! When the revolution comes, those dressed like Caligula will be torn to bits before the mob. But the man or woman with a simple shed? They’ll be hailed as a champion of the people! And no one will ever think to look behind the eggshell colored walls and coffee colored roof to find the hidden gold bars and poorly-ventilated Bitcoin miners from which capitalism will be rebuilt.
