Look, I appreciate your enthusiasm and all, but I needed a laptop. Not a Macbook, not an Alienware – whatever the hell that even means – and certainly not some high-end, glossy business designed to make everyone at Starbucks jealous. I just need something that works. Which is why this refurbished Samsung QX410-S02 14” Aluminum Laptop with HD LED Glass Display is more than enough for me.
Sure, it’s got a little flair to it. An Intel Core i5-480M 2.66GHz processor certainly isn’t bottom of the barrel. Neither is an NVIDIA GeForce 310M 512MB Graphics Card. But come on. I’m a meat and potatoes guy; I don’t go out and buy fancy-shmancy foods like truffle butter and drink high-end wine and liquor. I keep it simple and understated.
Sure, I could’ve gotten just a plain black netbook or a laptop with a slightly slower processor, but this is the perfect laptop for what I do. So you can mock me if you want for not having the latest, greatest, fanciest, flashiest laptop on the market. But I’ll be too busy counting all the craps I don’t give about what you think to notice.
