Rooting for the underdog is so played. You think you’re being “cool” and “genuine” by pulling for the loser? Psssh. Maybe ten years ago. These days I’m all about rooting for the overdog, and there’s no surer bet than the MacBook Air.
Awww, Intel is just now playing catch-up with its Ultrabooks? That’s adorable. But they’re never going to compete with the build quality, performance, and general, ineffable superiority of Apple’s ultra-thin laptop. And superiority is my favorite quality.
Maybe some analogies will help make my point. Think of the MacBook Air’s Intel Core i5 processor as the Yankees, the ultra-crisp 11.6″ screen is like the Lakers, and the ultrafast flash storage is the Patriots. What’s not to like? Oh, would you rather own the not-best laptop? Let me direct you to several computers that may be more to your liking…
