I need something that responds to my touch, something that comes to life when I’m around.
I don’t get much of a chance to interact with anyone or anything is the problem. I’m single, friendless, and live far enough away from my family that I can only really make it home for Thanksgiving. Pets? No way. The long hours I work wouldn’t really allow for that.
And then there’s job itself. I’m a mortician. Occasionally, they’ll give me an assistant, but most of the time it’s just me working on the cadavers solo.
The days can get pretty lonely. I can go whole weeks without talking to a person, or at least a living one. That’s why this Archos 10.1″ 8GB Android Tablet is so important to me. It’s the only thing that really acknowledges my touch. Like, I can tap the AppsLib icon and the Archos immediately shows me all my apps. It’s almost like it’s saying, “I’m here for you, Craig.”
It’s a nice feeling. Maybe not as nice as it would be to have a friend or a wife, but I take what I can get.
