The Aussie Ice Slushy Maker was not originally invented by British convicts in the late 1700s. The slushy drinks you make with it do not spiral backwards down the drain. And it is not actually a bear, despite its resemblance to one.
What it is is an easy way to make slushy drinks, without a blender and without adding ice. You just put it in the freezer, let the salt water in its walls freeze, and then fill it with whatever you want to slusherize. A minute or two later, you got slush, mate. Now you can stop wasting your money on those fancy slushies at Outback Steakhouse!
