Despite certain typographical errors in the manual to your iGo charger, it may not be used for reanimating cadavers. We apologize for any misunderstanding.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your purchase of the iGo 4-Position Battery Charger for both AA and AAA NiMH batteries. We hope that, thus far, you have been satisfied with both it and the 8 AA rechargeable alkaline batteries we included, which can, by the way, hold charge for up to 7 years!

Today, we’re emailing because we’ve realized that there were several typos in the instruction manual that need to be addressed. In many instances, the word “battery” was accidentally replaced by “the deceased” leading it to sound as though the product could be used for re-animating the dead. How this mistake occurred, we don’t know. Nor are we sure how the illustrations were also altered to show cadavers being loaded onto an iGo the size of a queen mattress.

You can be sure, however, that the mistake does NOT indicate that we here at iGo are developing a product for such a purpose. That would be crazy, right? What kind of well-meaning company would risk the potential shareholders’ abandon-ship by dabbling in such a ridiculous undertaking? And even if they were, then surely, they would want to perfect the technology before leaking any information to the general public, right?

Anyway, what we’re getting at is it was a simple mistake and you shouldn’t dwell on it. We blame autocorrect.
