NOOOOOOOO!

Wow. As many times as I’ve seen this scene, I never noticed that Greedo was cutting drywall.

I guess that’s the mark of a great work of art: you see something new every time. Well, maybe not every time. I didn’t notice anything new the last time I watched it, or the time before that, or probably the time before that. But still, there it is, the Dremel Trio Rotary Tool Kit, right there in the Cantina.

It just goes to show what a visionary Lucas was, to put a then-futuristic tool like this in a movie made almost 35 years ago. Back then, the world wouldn’t have believed that you could cut a wide variety of materials with a single high-speed cutter. Well, looks like science fiction has become science fact.

And whoa, what’s this? Who knew Chewbacca could wield a router like that? And now he’s sanding, with sanding bands in four different grits. I thought I knew a thing or two about Wookiees, but their carpentry skills are new to me. Maybe things like that just stand out more in HD.
