So, I had the weirdest dream last night. I do have a reoccurring dream about cyclones, actually. But last night’s was different. This time instead of hiding, I actually ran right up to the cyclone and grabbed it by its tail. It felt amazingly light in my hand, actually. Like it couldn’t have been more than 4.85 pounds. I know. That’s a very specific number. It must be symbolic, but I’m just not sure how.

So anyway, I’ve got the cyclone by its tail, and all of a sudden it starts sucking up everything. The houses on the street. The cars. The trees. Everything. This constant, high suction goes on for like 15 minutes until there is nothing left. The blue sky is gone. So is the green grass. The world is nothing but a blank white canvas.

But the next thing that happened was the weirdest part. Out of nowhere, my husband’s stupid tabby cat appears. And he’s taunting me. He’s just meowing, but somehow in the dream I totally understand what he’s saying. And he’s saying, “Ben will never love you like he loves me, Courtney.” It makes me so mad that I turn the cyclone on him. But it won’t suck him up. It’s like he was somehow magically resistant to its high velocity airflow.

And then I wake up. What do you think it means?

Sidebar: I’m pretty sure the cat is trying to kill me. When I woke up, he was laying on my face.
