Eton American Red Cross Solarlink Radio

Sometimes we get “helpful” feedback from the folks who wheel and deal products for the site; usually it’s along the lines of “please don’t be so freaking morbid when writing about this thing. We want people to actually buy it.” But then they give us a product like this Eton American Red Cross Solarlink Radio and we’re faced with a sort of conundrum.
It kind of invites writing about a disaster, right? Specifically the aftermath of a disaster, when you would need a radio that can be powered by four different sources so you can tune in for instructions on AM radio or listen to updates on the NOAA weather band while you sift through the rubble using the white LED light.
But it turns out putting our customers in the mindset of something horrific happening to them tends to make them clutch their credit cards closer to their chests, so don’t think about this stuff. Instead, maybe you could just use it to listen to the baseball game or something.
