Look, I don’t like it any more than the rest of you do. But I’ve learned to choose my battles. Several costly and inconvenient arrests for public indecency will teach you that lesson.

So, while I seek cultural and legislative solutions to shift society away from its fear of the human body (particularly my body), I will end my campaign of civil disobedience and put on a pair of Fila Men’s Performance Trackster Pants before I leave the house on my daily run. Their high-performance fleece and breathable mesh are a lot more comfortable than spending the night in county lockup.

Does this mean I’ve changed my commitment to personal freedom? Not at all. I’m just working inside the system. After all, with every step I take, I’m naked under my Fila Men’s Performance Trackster Pants. And there’s nothing the system can do about it.

I’ll leave the fight on the street to younger activists. Especially female ones, if there are any of you out there. For some reason, women don’t seem to understand the benefits that a clothing-optional society would bring all of us.
