For A Limited Ti- Never Mind: The Best Rapture Deals From Deals.Woot
Monday, May 23, 2011
As we know, the world as we know it did not end this past Saturday. Which is really too bad, because the bargainmongering mob at Deals.Woot submitted a wide variety of useful End of Days discounts from across the web. Here are just a few of the rapturous community-submitted deals that we’re still around to laugh about:

- 1994?: the stunning, revelatory blockbuster in which noted Biblical scholar Harold Camping incontrovertibly proves the world will end… in 1994.
- 10 Year Earthbound Pet Protection against abandonment by Rapture: it’ll be hard to enjoy your ascension to Heaven when you’re worried about whether Pittypaws is taking her worm pills. The damned to the rescue! From the FAQ: “Each of our representatives has stated to us in writing that they are atheists, do not believe in God / Jesus, and that they have blasphemed in accordance with Mark 3:29, negating any chance of salvation.”
- I Survived the Rapture 2011 T-Shirt: maybe the low prices at Shirt.Woot have spoiled me, but $ 18.99 for this? I can get the same comic juice with a three-pack of Hanes undershirts and a Sharpie.
- Blondie – “Rapture”: one of the two inevitable songs for this list.
- R.E.M. – “It’s The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)”: the other one.
If you found a another e-commerce deal where the “e” stands for “end times”, share it below (or on Deals.Woot). But even though we’re all busy these (last) days, dodging brimstone and fornicating on golden rams and whatnot, don’t wait too long to post it. You never know.
(Thanks, Gatzby, Nova, and John!)
