It’s a Christmas Miracle!

It feels miraculous in here. Maybe a little too miraculous…

Look there, under the Christmas tree, is that the HP Envy Dual-Core i5 Laptop with that I asked for? The one that you, mama, and you, papa, said you couldn’t afford? Why, it’s a Christmas miracle!

And look there, on the screen, could it possibly be that I am using the HP TrueVision HD webcam with Integrated digital microphone to Skype with none other than Grand-mama, who had been pronounced dead in July after being lost at sea for these previous two years? Why, it’s a Christmas miracle!

And look there, at the famous child actor, Herbert Wibley, dressed as an elf, standing front and center singing “Santa’s got a brand new bag” in Get Up Offa That Sled: A James Brown Christmas? Don’t his features – which I am seeing with clarity for the first time thanks to the 14.5” LED display with BrightView Infinity technology – so clearly resemble mine, which is to say he quite possibly might be my twin brother who was snatched out of our crib all of a decade and four years ago? Why, it’s a Christmas miracle!

And look there, on the front page of the local news blog, is that not the face of Percy Ribbins, the business man who plans to build a giant candle factory on the edge of town, a venture that would surely put Uncle Chester’s small, handmade candle shop out of business? And does that headline below his picture not read, “Ribbins gone missing, factory construction to cease immediately”? Why, it’s a Christmas miracle!

Oh golly, there certainly have been more Christmas miracles than usual today. Either we’ve struck upon some luck or I have uncovered the first threads of what is a large and vicious web of lies. Haha! I am kidding, of course!

What are you speaking of in such a hushed tone, mama and papa?
