Inspiration Vineyards Viognier (4)

To be clear, I’m not a doctor. I don’t even play one on TV. But if you’re hearing color or tasting sounds, you may have a neurological disorder. However, if you’re nosing the smell of apricots and passion fruit, you’re probably just enjoying a glass of Russian River Valley wine.

Still unsure? Answer these next questions. We’ll decide that way if you need to call 911 or simply uncork another bottle. Ok here we go.

1) Is there a solid acidity balanced by flavors of citrus, grapefruit and apricots dancing on your palate? If yes, you’re definitely just having a glass of Russian River Valley wine.

2) Are you experiencing a tingling sensation or numbness all over or even on just one side of your body? See, this one’s tricky. On one hand, you could have just enjoyed this Russian River Valley wine a little too much. On the other, however, it could be a stroke. It’s a toss-up. Let’s move on.

3) Look at this list of numbers. If you think the number 8 might stab you, and the number 3 looks like she’d be a party girl, I’d call the doc at your earliest convenience.

I’m sure there’s no cause for alarm, though. You could probably just finish up that glass first.
