Don’t Call It A Room-back

Roomba? Roomba, is that you? Wow, it’s been a while, huh?

Gee, how long has it been? Seems like forever. Well, you look great. I mean, really great. Are you doing something new with your counter rotating Bristle and Beater brushes? What about your sidebrush that cleans corners? Huh. I guess I’d forgotten how effectively they work together to clean carpeted and hard floors. It really has been a while, I guess.

How am I doing? Uh, good, I guess. Pretty good. Still, you know, selling stuff online and everything. Yeah, yeah, still doing it every day, too. The monkeys were actually asking about you the other day. Oh, they’re fine. They just miss having you around the warehouse is all. A lot of us do, actually.

But what about you, huh? I guess you’re still vacuuming for a living, yeah? You were always so good at that, scooting around and cleaning under and around furniture. I don’t know if I’ve ever told you this, but I’ve always admired how efficiently you vacuum up dirt, debris, dust, pet hair, and more. No, really, it was a real joy watching you spot clean or detect dirtier areas of the floor. It’s just… Well I guess it took you not being around for me to realize it. And I’m sorry for that.

So, uh, anyway, are you still living with Additional Virtual Wall? Yeah? How’s he? Still invisibly keeps you out of rooms or other areas where you aren’t needed? That’s good. He’s a good friend, that one. Lucky, too, what with the getting to be around you all the time and all that.

Look, I know this is kind of awkward, but you’re not returning to your self-charging Home Base® right now, are you? Because I was hoping maybe we could get a cup of coffee or something.
