You see, this is my first time seeing it, which makes it the most important viewing. My reaction to the movie now, is my TRUE reaction. I may watch the movie many, many times in the future. When I buy it on DVD. From a store. In a legal manner. But those times won’t be as real. I won’t be responding directly to the film; I’ll also be responding to my memory of the last time I saw the film.

That’s why I need to get this video. I may grow bitter or jaded about the film in the future. Time may sour the film for me. Or conversely, I may look back on the film with a fondness that I didn’t feel on first viewing. So, I’ll need a reminder of just how I REALLY felt that day, today, when I first saw it.

And not some blurry, pixelated, shaky reminder either. I want to see my reaction in 1920 x 1080 resolution, with Advanced Image Stabilizer turned on for a smooth shot, and Super LoLux keeping everything clear in low light.

Oh, so why am I pointing it towards the screen? Well, would you believe that it has a mirrored reversible lens? No?
