As a neurotic hypochondriac, the JVC Everio Camcorder has been a real boon. My medical bills had started to pile up after I visited the doctor every day for a month. I was swamped! But what could I do – seek therapy for my severe medical anxiety? Unlikely.

It shoots in HD video, which is great for uploading to YouTube and posting to Facebook. Now all my friends know my medical issues intimately. Plus, the camcorder automatically analyzes for faces, color, and distance. Surprisingly, it’s unable to automatically detect cancerous moles. Weird, right?
