A Haiku On The Occasion Of My Finally Buying A KitchenEater Garbage Disposal So I Can Get Rid Of All Those Banana Peels That I Originally Stored In My Sink Until My Landlord Demanded I Get Rid Of Them And Also While I Was At It Recommended I Finally Grind Up Those Pieces Of Chicken I Had Stacked In Front Of His Door, Not Maliciously Or Anything Like That, Just Sort Of As A Joke, But Anyway It Almost Got Me Evicted Which Is Why I Was So Angry With Everything That I Chose To Turn To Poetry But It Wasn’t Like It Was My Fault, Really, I Just Sort Of Am Absent-Minded And Anyway I Was Going To Get A KitchenEater Anyway Because It’s Great To Make Compost And Mulch And Just Plain Have Less Food In The Garbage Which Is Good Because Who Likes Flies? Certainly Not My Landlord, Because He Said I Had To Clean Up Or Pay A Fine Or Leave Which Is The Real Reason I’m Hoping To Sell A Book Of Poetry And If You’re Interested In This Maybe Ask At The Table Up Front After This Reading Because I’ll Sell You A Copy For A Super Reasonable Price Oh, But I Do Go On, Don’t I Now Here’s The Poem But For Real It’s Totally For Sale If You Like It Or I Can Write You A Different One Because I’m Super Good At Haiku, At Least As Good As The KitchenEater Is At Crushing Up Garbage, Okay, Sorry, Sorry, Here’s The Poem Now
