Lasko Fan Combo Pack

Sylvia looked at the near-empty plate of baklava, right next to the near-full pan of lasagna from the charity dinner. The moment she’d told Nestoras she was back on sugar, the dessert appeared. It was delicious, but nowhere near “go out with the Greek superintendent” delicious. She knew he was smitten with her, but he just wasn’t her type. She laughed when she thought about Rod. Maybe sticking to her type wasn’t the best idea. Still, she was not interested in the slightest, and she was never going to be either.
And speaking of love connections gone wrong, Sylvia really needed to get to the bottom of this new crush of Craig’s. Of course he hadn’t specifically mentioned any girl, but it was obvious from the frequency of his visits and that dopey googly-eyed look on his face that someone had piqued his interest.
If she was a bettin’ woman (oh who was she kidding, she was THE bettin’ woman) she would guess that he had met her the day he brought over the Lasko 36″ tower fan. Its swivel-action oscillation had been a life-saver that week. And she would be forever grateful for that multi-function remote which let her control it from anywhere in the room so she didn’t have to move. The insufferable heat wave had subsided, but now she was left with this mystery.
Somewhere in this building, some trollop was enjoying Sylvia’s two-speed Clip Stik fan and shaking her tail feathers in Craig’s general direction. And if it was the last thing she did, Sylvia was going to get to the bottom of it. Maybe she would ask Danielle about it. She probably knew all the other young girls in the building.
