ThinkPad. Sounds like just a fun name, right? But it’s not. It’s a terrifying truth! You see, the by-product of this laptop is not just heat and light. It’s thoughts. Really, really dumb thoughts.

Every time you boot up the Intel Core i5-2520M dual-core processor, the Thinkpad releases 5-10 thoughts like, “Are porcupines really that different from armadillos?” or “They should make taco sandwiches.” Want to save something to the 320GB Hard Drive? That’ll make 10-20 thoughts such as, “How do fish see what’s in front of them?” or “Oil’s grossness-on-your-hands to value ratio is super off balance!” That stunning 15.6″ LED-backlit high-definition widescreen display you love so much? 30-50 dumb thoughts released into the atmosphere, from “Whose idea was it to make cookies flat?” to “paving the whole world would create a lot of jobs in the concrete industry.”

Are these thoughts really that dangerous? Absolutely. The more of them there are in the atmosphere, the more likely they are to sneak into your head and make you think them. That’s why we say, when you’re looking at laptops, don’t just about what’s right for you; consider what’s best for the environment.

Something else to consider: can you hear the ocean in plastic conch shells?
