Well, well, well. Looks like SOME people enjoy a nice Meeker, huh? Okay, Wine lovers, consider this Act II in your thirsty little lives. Here’s three bottles of Petite Sirah from our pals at Meeker.

We’ve hand-picked these fine fine bottles from the big pile near the copy machine, and sprinted to the packaging room with them in our arms. We’ve tossed two 2006 Petite Sirah, Sonoma County and one 2007 Petite Sirah, Dry Creek Valley into a box labeled VERY SPECIAL: HANDLE WITH CARE and pushed it to the corner of the room we keep for YOUR orders. Then we jogged to the server, set everything up, wrote this sweet little note and- well, everything after that hyphen pretty much takes place in real time.

What happens next in the story is up to you! That’s right, today YOU are a member of the Wine.Woot team! And it’s a tradition that everyone in office chips in some money to buy Petite Sirah on Wednesdays. You don’t have to, sure, but you want to be part of the team, right? Right?

• Alcohol: 14.7%
• 93.3% Petite Sirah and 6.7% Syrah, Riebli Road Vineyard

2007 Meeker Petite Sirah, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County

• Alcohol: 14.5%
• 88.7% Dry Creek Valley Petite Sirah (Rammazzotti), 6.2% 2007 Barberian, and 5.1% Martinelli Petite Sirah
• After subdividing the Barberian, the bottom line is Petite Sirah 94.1%, Zinfandel 3.1%, Barbera 2.6%, and Syrah 0.2%
