Panasonic 5.1CH HTS w/ 3D Blu-ray Player

It’s a cliche about electronics and gadgets: as soon as you buy ’em, a newer/better/neater version is released to render yours obsolete. But we’ve been looking at this Panasonic 5.1CH Home Theater System with 3D Blu-ray Player and we think it’s a safe bet. Dolby Digital Plus, Blu-ray, 1,000 Watts of power, WiFi ready (once you snag a wireless adapter), and six speakers! Sure, they can improve on and outdate all that stuff, but 3D? That’s not goin’ anywhere.
Well, okay, sure they’ll continue to develop and improve on 3D viewing TECHNOLOGY, but the third dimension? They’re not going to add anything onto that. There’s not a 4D television comin’ down the pipe unless humanity suddenly evolves a third eye or something. So you can invest in 3D knowing full well there won’t be a better thing, just better 3D stuff.
Of course CES is happening right now, so we’ll probably be proven wrong before this even goes live.
