Paw Seasons Gates by Munchkin

The problem with pet gates is that they’re gateway gates. You get one, like either of these Paw Seasons Gates by Munchkin, for the purpose of keeping your dog out of the kitchen, and it seems simple enough. Because it’s just a gate, right? No big deal at all!
Then you think, well, if the unique tilting spring mechanism isn’t putting stress on the walls, why not get another one up for the bottom of the stairs? And another one for the top of the stairs. And another one for the doorway into your home office. After all, these things fit everywhere.
Soon, things have gotten out of hand. You’ve taken out all the bedroom doors and replaced them with gates. Every corner of your house is gated off. Your dog can barely go anywhere. But does that stop you from getting more? No! Because even if you have nowhere to put them now, you still might need them later.
In the meantime, though, you decide to store them in the closet. Then you think, “I better put up something to keep my dog from getting in there and tearing up all my precious gates.” So you take OUT one of the gates. And you set it up in front of the closet. That primarily holds gates.
Is this really how you want to live your life?!
