Ryan was out alone. He told himself this was perfectly normal. There was no way Bristol could possibly forget him just because he was away for a few hours. Even a normal baby would still recognize her Daddy, and a baby as clearly advanced as Bristol? No way. No way she’d forget.

Even still, Ryan wanted to be sure he had something memorable when he made it home.

But he couldn’t help but think: what if this trike was there as an incentive? What if his little girl woke up every morning to look at the classic-style chrome handlebars and bell?
