DSL Killed The Video Star
Nobody wants to admit it, but television might not have long to live.
Well, that’s not totally true. Television is gonna be around forever. It’s just that television is about to do what radio did, and make this tight withdrawal into niche markets. Why? Because the big money’s gone to the Internet. And once that big money goes, it’s just a matter of time.
But that’s not to say all TV is bad. Even today, people still listen to radio plays and radio comedy. There’s always going to be good television… it’s just that we’re going to get it over the Internet! See how that works?
This Roku HD Streaming Player means you can connect to Hulu and Netflix and so on, watching shows when YOU want to see them. Missed Bob’s Burgers last Sunday? Watch it on Monday night! Or if you want some music, fire up Pandora or your own iTunes playlists from the other room! Thanks to that sweet ol’ 802.11b/g connection and Ethernet port, you’re plugged in to every computer in the house.
And don’t worry. One day something’s gonna make the Internet look lame. Until that day comes, however, stick the the Roku HD Streaming Player.
