Schwinn 120 Upright Bike
Monday, January 14, 2013
I’ll be honest: I never really thought I’d have a career in competitive cycling. I figured being overweight, not particularly interested in bicycling, and not owning a bike since I was 12 pretty much disqualified me. But it turns out there’s a burgeoning market for people who are not hopped up on steroids and bovine thalamus extract or whatever the kids are taking these days, because pretty much everyone who cycles currently is on that stuff.
So I’m practicing now with my Schwinn 120 Upright Bike. I figure that’s pretty much the same thing as practicing in the mountains of France, right? And more importantly, with the playing field pared down to basically me and my neighbor, I like my odds.
