To be fair, this Shredz 8-Sheet Cross-Cut Paper Shredder wasn’t really designed with that purpose in mind. So if you happen to work in a top secret facility that has been gathering classified information for more than a decade, you should probably have a better action plan should you be unexpectedly infiltrated and need to destroy everything in approximately 3.8 minute’s time.
Like, you know, maybe a fireplace. Or a kiln. Or a nuclear reactor … something like that. This shredder has a 2-minute run time and only a 4.23 gallon basket capacity. That’s not a problem if you just want to shred your credit card statements before throwing them in the trash, or even the credit cards themselves since it does that too.
But when you have stacks and stacks of files that reveal the existence of extraterrestrial life and the truth behind the Kennedy assassination and whatnot, a convenient one-handed operation and reverse function to prevent paper jams just isn’t going to cut the mustard. You don’t want to get caught with your pants down, now do you? Figuratively speaking, of course. (You destroyed that file already, right?)
