The way we hear it, it all started with the Paring Knife.

See, the Paring Knife met the Utility Knife back in college, and they went out for a little, nothing serious, you know how it goes. Then they kinda lost contact when the Paring Knife moved to the big city.

Then the Paring Knife met the Hollow-Ground Santoku at a job. They hit it off, and starting hanging out in the park on sunny Saturday afternoons. Of course, they were just friends.

But when the Paring Knife’s lease ran out, the Hollow-Ground Santoku said “Hey! Come move in with me!” And before long, the two knives were roomies! And then- wouldn’t you know it? -one day the Paring Knife bumped into the Utility Knife in a deli and shrieked! AAAA! IT’S YOU!! I HAVEN’T SEEN YOU IN YEARS!!

So the Paring Knife took the Utility Knife back to the apartment, and introduced the Hollow-Ground Santoku, and you know what? Instant fireworks! And now they all live together, except they have to pretend they’re not made from Damascus steel when the prudish landlord comes around. And don’t get us started on the hijinks of their wacky neighbor, Larry.
