Can’t Stop Me
Today, we the infamous Department of Minor Annoyances chose Todd Mullins to be our victim.
Todd had to travel for work, making him a rather easy target. After all, if business travel isn’t filled with countless minor frustrations, people may begin to grow suspicious.
We opened the day with the usual kinds of stuff. First, we made it so that it took Todd just a bit longer than usual to find his car keys, which meant he had to rush. In this state, it was natural for him not to see the puddle in his driveway, step in it, and thus be forced to fly two hours WITH SOGGY SHOES!
MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
But that wasn’t all. When he arrived at his hotel, we made it so he had to wait behind a woman who had SEVERAL QUESTIONS! All in all, her conversation with the clerk took no more than nine minutes, but that was just enough time for someone to purchase the last grape soda in the vending machine, a soda that Todd wanted. And worst of all, THE VENDING MACHINE REFUSED TO GIVE BACK HIS CHANGE!
MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Now, we are the end of our day – the (minor) grand finale! You see, Todd is about to find out that this hotel doesn’t get AMC, the network that shows The Walking Dead, his favorite show! Watch as the disappointment spread across his face as he flips through!
MUWAHAHA–
Wait, what’s this? He’s taking out his laptop? Why is he doing that? It couldn’t possibly be because he has… Oh my! IT IS! Todd has a Slingbox SOLO, the device that streams standard-definition content to a computer, phone, or any one of over 10,000 devices via the internet! Why, he can even change channels, pause, fast forward, rewind, and set up DVR recordings with the on-screen virtual remote!
Oh this is not good! Not good at all! Look at that smile, that face full of relief! IT IS A SIGN THAT WE HAVE FAILED AND MAY NEVER RECOVER!!!
