Stansport 11′, 6-Person Inflatable Boat

Hey everybody,

Thank you so much for offering to help me move. I was going to get a U-Haul, but then I had a bright idea: Since I’m moving to another house on the river, why don’t I move by BOAT? I’ve gone ahead and rented a Stansport 11′ 6-person river boat, which should be perfect.

I’m hoping to start around 6am, and please show up on time. The boat’s 11 feet long and can hold up to six people, but we’ll probably want to just have a couple people aboard with a few boxes. My 2400 sq. ft. house is pretty well packed with stuff, so it might take a few trips. But imagine the fun we’ll have!

Now, as you know there are a lot of rapids and a smallish waterfall on that stretch of the river, but DON’T WORRY: The boat will be fine. It’s made of high-grade material and should be up to the challenge. I don’t have any life preservers so if you need one (read: if you’re a wimp) please bring your own.

The boat’s got mounts for an engine, but I’m running a pretty tight budget on this move, so we’ll be paddling. Can you say upper-body workout? You’re welcome.

I’ll be providing donuts and coffee for everyone who helps! It will probably come out to about $ 4/person, so bring cash please.
