You kids today. So friggin’ spoiled. In my day, we didn’t have fancy whiskey cubes. We’d just go out back and pick up some rocks out of the yard and throw them in the glass. Sometimes we’d brush off the dirt, sometimes we wouldn’t. A little grit between the teeth never hurt nobody.
Now you all gotta have these reusable stainless steel cocktail cubes because you’re all just a bunch of namby pambies afraid of a little melted water in your drinks.
Believe me, if you were drinking what we were drinking back then, melted ice cubes were the LEAST of your worries. Let’s just say if something crawled in there and died, we drank it anyway. And if it crawled in there, did the back stroke for a bit and then crawled out, we knew the stuff wasn’t strong enough.
Anyway, go ahead and drink up. That’s my grandma’s famous recipe. Yes, she was a handsome woman. Thanks for saying so.
How to Use |

Place cubes in the freezer for 4 hours; add 2-3 whiskey stones per drink. The cubes hold their temperature out of the freezer for 45 minutes or more. When finished, just wash and reuse. |
