Don’t Let The Fire Die

Grilling season may almost be over, but the flames in my heart will never subside.

It just doesn’t get any easier, buddy. We do this each and every year, but it still hurts just as bad as the first time we parted ways. There’s nothing we can do, though. We both know it. In a few weeks, I’ll be forced to return to the kitchen and that cold-hearted stove of mine and you’ll be out here sitting silently under a tarp on the back porch for months. It’s not right, no, but it’s just the way things are. Let’s just try to make the most of the time we have left, huh? That seems like the best thing to do.
